First and foremost let’s understand what walking on water is, believing in the unbelievable, the unattainable, and the seemingly impossible. If you wish to take the meaning further fine but, let’s not miss the message. If you take on the confidence of thinking you can do the impossible, you make your goals seem more realistic. Of course, it takes hard work and perseverance but you must believe first. Some of the most common things around you were once “walking on water”. Take a look around yourself. Someone believed first and then it was, not vice versa.
For me, walking on water will be starting all of my companies up. I believe the count is currently 17. Sounds crazy and it is suppose to. Currently, I’m on number 3 and I believe in all 17 so all 17 will be. That is not to say that my 17 would ever amount to your 1 or even your aspiration to improve a current business, it is just to give an example to show you that it is natural to think most people’s goals are on the level of walking on water. That mindset is perfectly fine for you and the other person.
Let’s take it back to you looking around and realizing how much of the stuff you see was completely out of the question. One, the computer you are on. The electricity you are using. The car you’ll be in later. The planes you are sure to see, hear, and/or fly in. The T.V you sit in front of instead of working towards your goals. (Sorry, no need for that, right?) All of them were at one point on the same level as walking on water. It was complete crazy talk. Regardless of that fact, someone believed and made it so. Now you get to benefit from their faith on a daily basis.
In closing, I feel everyone can walk on water. It’s just a matter of what their incredible feat is/will be/can be. As far as the naysayers, don’t attempt to hideaway from them. They really help. With them, it feels a little better accomplishing goals. It adds a little luster to praise and accolades that come with great accomplishments. I’m taking my first steps off the sand, who’s walking with me?
Food for thought…you do the dishes!
